Surprise!!!


After years of dreaming about it but not being brave enough…. I’m officially joining the Monticello Market on the Square for the season.


This has always been one of those “maybe one day” ideas that never quite felt realistic enough to actually do. And if I’m being honest… I don’t think I ever would’ve taken the leap on my own.


Sometimes you just need a little push.


When I was asked by the Monticello Chamber of Commerce to set up on opening day for their Mother’s Day day event, I originally thought I’d just do that - show up once, test the waters, keep it simple.


But somewhere in the middle of planning, something shifted.


I decided if I was going to do it, I might as well do it.Not halfway. Not safely. Not “just to see.”


Faith over fear. God has a plan for me at this market. 


So here we are. I’ve actually been quietly planning this for weeks. Keeping it to myself, working behind the scenes, and figuring out all the little details. It honestly felt too big and too fragile to share before it was real.


And now it is. So real. 


I’m equal parts extremely nervous and super excited, which usually means it’s exactly the right thing to do.

What I’ll Be Offering


I’ll be offering a different themed setup almost every week.  Quick, fun, personality-filled portraits right at the market. Something easy, low pressure, and still really meaningful.

This is going to stretch me in a lot of ways. Creatively, personally, and honestly just showing up in a much more visible way than I’m used to.


But I have a feeling it’s also going to be really special.
